Overview

Seattle’s South Lake Union is in the midst of unprecedented transformation with underdeveloped properties giving way to new buildings, creating vibrant streetscapes and bringing quality jobs, surging population and new life to a neighborhood long awaiting rebirth. Shoemaker has partnered in multiple projects in the region, providing a local touch to this international tech hub.

333 Dexter is a dynamic new 635,000-square-foot mixed-use office building providing a model workplace, permeable street edges and generous open spaces that support street-level uses and retail shops for a vibrant, pedestrian-oriented streetscape in what has historically been one of the city’s most vehicle-centric corridors.

Shoemaker Manufacturing was able to meet the architects aesthetic demands by providing the same linear styling with our LAB as the progressive lighting to compliment the wood slates throughout the building. Mechanical Contractor, McKinstry, ensured the product unites within the design to support an excellent mechanical system but not distract for the overall environment aesthetics. In the office spaces, our HL diffusers are used to provide unmatched comfort while blending into the ceiling. The 645 series was utilized as return air grilles to provide maximum free area while hiding the duct work.
